Pandemic Art 1.0 is a retrospective upon the first year and a half of the global pandemic situation (2020), also addressed as 'the new normal'. Pandemic Art 1.0 is ARTICULATE's book-debut, which will be published autumn 2021 in paperback/hard cover and e-book.
The publication addresses the situation, showcasing the projects of 38 professional artists, working with the current situation and its consequences.. As a follow-up on a series of lock-downs, artists are asked to reflect upon what isolation and disruption has meant to them.
The artworks can be experienced at ARTICULATE Gallery, where a virtual exhibition makes the digital space, allowing its audience to mingle and dwell between these artistic reflections presented by the nearly 40 participants.
The book is released by the end of spring 2021, as an artistic reflection upon the current global situation and the socio-cultural offspring of Covid-19. The book nearly features 40 international artists of various artistic disciplines, containing approximately 200 pages.
As we, in respect of the coherent climate-crises, only work with print-on-demand, there will be zero waste and no participation fees.
A virtual exhibition will be set up at ARTICULATE Gallery, where it will be possible to experience the art works digitally, addressing the concerns of the pandemic, in terms of isolation, safety and sociality.
