Terese Stenhjem (NO) May 15th 2020 - December 30th 2020 |
The Norwegian artist Terese Stenhjem (b. 1986) works across time-based medias, including video, audio, installation and sculpture. Subjects are incorporated from everyday life performed in traditional media persisting the lack of artistic value. Stenhjem insists in working with voids and spaces. These spaces can be ordinary rooms in a building, they may be so small that you cannot enter them - or an illusion of a room. Her method is working on a sensory level, where she’s in contact with what she experiences as crossing points or trigger points for different moods.
